As you descend to the gate that takes you outside the Bird of Paradise compound, there is a winding path through the bush to Sandy Hill Bay, a three-minute walk. A perfectly-shaped crescent beach, gently slopping shore and protective reefs, provides excellent swimming, snorkeling, and safe harbor for a small yacht.
It goes without saying, the sea is a living environment. Below is an untouched photo, but, like the beaches and weather anywhere in the world, at times it's not perfect. We cannot promise that there might not be seaweed, driftwood, etc.
On a clear day panoramic view of five countries. There are no resorts on the beach, so you will find it quiet and private.

Sandy Hill Bay beach is excellent for swimming, snorkeling, walking, or just private relaxation.

View from the Bird of Paradise roof looking down on the bay.

Panoramic views of the mountains of St. Martin, St. Barth's and on a clear
day you can also see the islands of St. Kitts and St. Eustatius.

Photo of villa from the beach looking at living room and suites #2, #3 and #4.

A short path from the villa provides access to the beach.
Approximately a three-minute walk through the foliage.
Please note this is a "nature" walk and not a manicured, cement walkway.
